Run and owned by the Fleming family, Goodend Produce has been in specialist outdoor salad production since 1996. The company is based at Southend farm, on the Coastal Chichester Plain and grows conventional crops such as romaine lettuce, little gem and celery. The farm comprises of 200 hectares and has invested heavily in building reservoirs for winter abstraction. The lettuce crops are irrigated by overhead booms and the celery is irrigated by a trickle system.

We have four mobile harvesting rigs dedicated to romaine, little gem lettuce and celery. The produce leaves the field as a finished labeled product ready for dispatch to the relevant customer. The harvested products are taken into the cooling facilities as quickly as is possible to remove field heat from the product to enhance shelf life.
